Event narrativeevent_narrativeA waterspout was observed just south of Stock Island. A visible condensation funnel cloud was observed approximately one quarter of the way down from cloud base. The waterspout moved slowly toward the west-southwest, and dissipated after becoming overtaken by a nearby thunderstorm.
