Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA moist and unstable atmosphere along a sharp dryline over eastern New Mexico focused several severe thunderstorms across the eastern plains. The stronger storms produced quarter to golf ball size hail stretching from Quay County southward to Roosevelt and Curry counties. The strongest storm produced a funnel cloud and minor flooding to the northwest of Melrose. Fortunately no notable damage occurred from these storms.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeFunnel cloud spotted along State Road 89 northeast of Tolar.
