This trough slowly drifted east and supported an area of low pressure over northern Ohio. This low pressure system drifted east and pushed a warm front across central New York early Tuesday morning, followed by a cold front late Tuesday afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms developed ahead of and along the cold front. Some of these storms became severe and produced severe winds. |
