wfo_sourceNWS STORM SURVEY
episode_narrativeA severe thunderstorm developed over Bull Shoals Lake in Boone County, or about 4 to 5 miles north of Lead Hill. As the storm moved southwest, a waterspout was spawned and tracked toward Lead Hill Park. A witness at the park reported seeing a pontoon boat lifted into the air in a spiraling motion and then dropped. Several boat docks and boats were damaged or destroyed as the waterspout neared land.
