The hail ranged from quarters to hen egg to golf ball size and occurred generally along a line from the Mississippi River bridge to Leland to Holly Ridge where it moved into Sunflower County. In addition to the large hail, several trees and a few power lines were blown down in and just east of Greenville. A unoccupied tractor trailer was turned over on Highway 82. |
