| event_narrative | A narrow rope-like funnel was observed in the Charleston area. The funnel cloud was photographed from the city. It was reportedly snaking in and out of the parent cloud, and extended as much as 60 percent of the way to the ground. No thunderstorms were occurring in the vicinity of the funnel cloud, which formed beneath very cold air aloft associated with an upper level low. |
