Buoys across the outer waters from Point Piedras Blancas to Santa Cruz island reported winds in excess of 50 knots as a line of thunderstorms moved through the waters. In the East Santa Barbara Channel, waterspouts were reported off of El Capitan Beach and the East Santa Barbara Channel buoy reported winds gusting to 34 knots in association with a thunderstorm. |
