episode_narrativeAt least four waterspouts formed on the Tidal Potomac River and the Maryland Portion of the Chesapeake Bay between 10 and 11:30 AM EDT on the 28th. The waterspouts caused no damage, but one near the Route 301 bridge on the Tidal Potomac River came close enough to land that a tornado warning was issued for southern Charles County. The funnel dissipated before the storm came ashore just south of Faulkner.
