| episode_narrative | The same supercell thunderstorm that dropped two tornadoes in northeast Maryland continued to move northeast from Gloucester County into southeastern Camden County. SKYWARN Spotters were chasing this storm and noticed it continued to develop funnel clouds, this time in Waterford Township. The funnel clouds did not touch down, but the storm did produce penny size hail in Chesilhurst Borough and Waterford Township. The hail was numerous enough to strip some leaves off the trees. The thunderstorm also produced some damaging winds as large limbs were torn down in Chesilhurst and the Cedar Brook section of Winslow Township. The storm then entered Wharton State Forest in Burlington County. Conectiv Energy reported about 1,500 of their customers lost power in southwestern New Jersey that afternoon and evening. |
