Temperatures were in the mid 80s to around 90, with dewpoint temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The atmosphere was weakly sheared with around 5000 J/kg of CAPE available and an LCL around 1000 meters. A warm front was located east-west across Iowa. Thunderstorms formed along the front during the late afternoon. There were numerous reports of funnel clouds in Boone and Webster Counties from the storms, with no other severe weather reported. |
