Numerous reports of large hail were received from spotters, ranging in size from dimes to as large as golf balls. In fact, an amateur radio operator at Thorp (Clark County) reported hail with a diameter of 3.5 inches. Estimated wind gusts of 60 to 65 mph knocked down large branches and blew down several large trees. |
