| episode_narrative | Strong to severe thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front as it swept across the region during the afternoon. The storms produced several reports of 40 to 50 mph winds and small hail. High winds estimated in excess of 60 mph knocked down numerous trees and limbs in Whiteside County from Erie to Morrison and Tampico. Strong winds also knocked down several large trees in Putnam. A trained spotter reported seeing three short lived funnel clouds northwest of Manlius in Bureau County. |
