Several small short-lived tornadoes developed along the high plains, in particular around Maxwell, Wagon Mound, Valmora, Springer, and Encinoso. The Encinoso tornado destroyed 2 homes and severely damaged 2 others. Many reports of quarter to baseball size hail were also reported with these storms.
