Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn early Spring storm that brought blizzard conditions in the Dakotas, and northwest Minnesota, also caused severe thunderstorms in west central Minnesota during the late afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms developed along a dry line that moved into far southwest Minnesota. As these storms moved north-northwest across Yellow Medicine county, it produced a tornado near St. Leo. Damage was confined to a barn. In addition to the tornado, nickel size hail and funnel clouds were also reported.
