| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Waterspouts were reported in association with cumulus cloud lines which originally developed over the Lower Florida Keys. Weak westerly sheared flow extended the cloud lines to the east-northeast, where waterspouts developed just north of the island chain. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Two waterspouts were observed about 4 miles north of Mile Marker 47 on the Overseas Highway. No spray ring was visibile at the surface. One waterspout was consisted of a visible funnel cloud retreating into the cloud base, while the other consisted of a rope-like funnel extending one-third of the way down from cloud base to the surface. The waterspouts were nearly stationary, but began to drift slowly eastward. |
