Compared to places further south, the warm sector supportive of severe storms was very narrow over southwest Indiana. However, very strong ascent in the vicinity of the front maintained a line of strong storms, including a couple that produced funnel clouds. Heavy rain caused some isolated flooding. The most persistent heavy rain occurred during the early morning hours in association with a strong southwest low level jet. |
