| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | A weak trough moving through the Southeast U.S. contributed to weak southwest flow over western Florida. Isolated showers developed over the Gulf of Mexico during the morning and moved onshore, with a couple of the showers developing brief lived waterspouts. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Several trained spotters reported a brief lived waterspout near the Gandy Bridge over Tampa Bay. The waterspout was also reported by weather observers in the tower at St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport, and was visible on a broadcast media webcam. Times of the waterspout touching down and lifted up were estimated using the webcam. Locations were estimated based on radar data and spotter reports. |
