| event_narrative | Around 825 am local time, 3 to 5 waterspouts were observed offshore of NAS Mayport. The spouts merged into one single spout around 845 am just east of Little Talbot Island. Observers reported that the spout dissipated before making landfall around 850 am and was 1.5 miles offshore of Mayport. Doppler radar indicated an outflow boundary moved through a convergent boundary in the coastal waters at the time of the reports. |
