Good lower level moisture was present to the east of the dryline, and there was plentiful upper level moisture available. The atmosphere was very unstable. Mid-level lift was present with an upper level disturbance that moved over the area. This combination of moisture, lift, and instability helped to create several severe thunderstorms that produced large hail, damaging winds, and flash flooding across West Texas. |
