A supercell produced a tornado along the coast in Cocoa, which briefly continued within the adjacent Indian River as a waterspout. Other storms produced wind gusts of 40 knots or greater over the Indian and Banana Rivers and the near-shore Atlantic waters. A riverboat anchored within the Indian River was overturned by the strong winds. |
