Event narrativeevent_narrativeTwo waterspouts were observed about two miles to the west-southwest of the southwest shoreline of Key West. One waterspout was observed as a vertical, narrow funnel cloud extending nearly to the horizon. The second waterspout consisted of a funnel cloud extending one quarter down from the cloud base. The waterspouts moved toward the northwest at 10 mph.
