| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | An area of low pressure moved from eastern Iowa into the lower Great Lakes region during the evening of June 15. This surface low helped produced some scattered showers and thunderstorms across portions of northeast Iowa and northwest Illinois. One of the storms was severe, which produced some damaging winds about 6 miles northwest of Erie, IL. The storm also produced a persistent funnel cloud as it moved southeast across south central Whiteside County, but it never touched down as a tornado. |
