Event narrativeevent_narrativeKATC-TV and KLFY-TV along with local law enforcement reported a well-defined long lasting funnel cloud that began near the town of Milton and moved northeast across southeastern sections of Lafayette for approximately 15 minutes. The funnel cloud ended near the Bonin Road and La Neuville Road intersection. Although the funnel cloud came close to the ground, no touchdowns or damage were reported. Dozens of people witnessed and photographed the funnel cloud.
