This environment was favorable for quick tornado spin-ups as strong thunderstorm updrafts stretched the low level vorticity to create funnels or tornadoes. Two confirmed tornado reports were received over southwestern North Dakota in Bowman County, along with one funnel cloud report over northwestern North Dakota in Williams County. |
