Event narrativeevent_narrativeFour waterspouts were observed extending at least one quarter of the way down from cloud base in the Gulf of Mexico waters 5 miles north northwest of Key West. One funnel cloud was broad in width, while the remainder were narrow. The waterspouts moved quickly toward the southwest at approximately 15 knots.
