One waterspout moved onshore the beach as a tornado and then meandered south between the beach and adjacent Atlantic for over 5 minutes. Event narrativeevent_narrativeVolusia County beach patrol and numerous public reports and video of one or more waterspouts over the nearshore waters off Ormond Beach. A waterspout moved onshore the beach as a tornado near Osceola Avenue, then meandered south along the beach and adjacent surf-zone for over a half mile.
