Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeConvective showers developing along an old outflow boundary oceanside of the Lower Florida Keys produced multiple waterspouts southeast of Bahia Honda Key.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeThree waterspouts were observed to the south of Sandspur Beach at Bahia Honda State Park. Each waterspout was very narrow. The first waterspout extended vertically down from cloud base approximately two thirds to the water surface with a duration of 10 minutes. The second waterspout had a visible condensation funnel cloud that extended approximately one third the way down from cloud base, but with a visible spray ring. The third waterspout was short-lived with a similar condensation funnel cloud as the second waterspout.
