Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn isolated supercell thunderstorm developed along an outflow boundary in a moderately unstable atmosphere. The storm became severe, briefly producing very strong winds estimated at 100 mph to the southeast of Charlson in McKenzie County. In this area a single wide manufactured home was blown off its cinder block foundation, displaced approximately 50 to 60 feet, and completely destroyed. A livestock trailer was flipped onto its roof, a metal storage container was shifted and tipped onto its side and a large dumpster was blown approximately 100 feet. Nearby several panels of a metal industrial building roof were displaced or blown off, and a camper was tipped on its side. Thereafter, the only other severe report was for one-inch diameter hail to the south of Four Bears Lodge.
