Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeBehind a departing cold front several weak boundaries were left behind across the waters of Eastern North Carolina. As the morning went on, isolated shower and thunderstorm activity developed along these boundaries. Given the lack of instability behind the front only a storm or two became strong in nature bringing an isolated waterspout threat to our coastal waters north of Cape Hatteras.
Event narrativeevent_narrativePicture of a waterspout off of Avalon Pier was sent in to the office via slack as the waterspout was occurring.
