The low brought enough moisture and instability to the area for scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop across the area. While precipitation amounts were generally a quarter of an inch or less, some stations in Merced and Mariposa Counties measured between a quarter and three quarters of an inch of rainfall. In addition, some of the thunderstorms produced funnel clouds as the environment was highly sheared. |
