Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA cold front swung through the region in the morning hours of November 5th. Although overall forcing was shifting north and east away from the local area, sufficient elevated instability was in place ahead of the front. As the boundary neared, thunderstorms developed into a broken line and a couple of them were able to capitalize on the instability and produce severe winds in Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi Sound.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeWaterspout spotted by public several miles SSW of the Pass Christian Harbor.
