| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | An occluded surface low drifted east-northeastward from northwestern OH to central Lake Erie during the early morning through early afternoon of the 13th. Isolated rain showers developed along a low-level convergence zone associated with the cyclonic circulation of the surface low. The ambient environment exhibited rich and deep low-level moisture, and lake-induced instability (e.g. lake surface to 850 mb temperature differences near 16C). The updraft of one of these lake-enhanced rain showers generated a non-mesocyclonic waterspout offshore metro Cleveland. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Received Twitter photo of definitive waterspout just offshore Avon Lake, OH, near the Lorain/Cuyahoga County line. |
