Event narrativeevent_narrativeA waterspout was observed via NWS rooftop cameras and the duty weather observer at Naval Air Station Key West Boca Chica Field, approximately 9 miles south of Key West. The condensation cloud extended about halfway from the cloud base to the surface and was generally vertical. No spray ring was observed.
