The dominant ridge centered just off the California coast kept skies mainly clear and wind light over the San Joaquin Valley which allowed for areas of dense fog to form during the evening of January 21 and the early morning of January 22. The fog became more extensive and widespread just of after sunrise, but dissipated by late morning. |
