Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeHigh pressure centered off the California coast kept mainly clear skies over the area overnight allowing for fog to form in the San Joaquin Valley as winds remained light. While the fog dissipated shortly after sunrise at most locations, it persisted until late morning in eastern Kings and far western Tulare Counties reducing visibility to less than 1000 feet at times. The fog finally lifted into a low cloud deck by late morning which slowly dissipated during the afternoon.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeVisibility below a quarter mile was reported in Hanford.
