Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeFog settled back into the San Joaquin Valley north of Kern County during the evening of December 10 and reduced visibility to below a quarter mile at several locations during the morning of December 11. Once again several school districts in the valley either opened late or delayed bus service. The fog lifted into a status deck by late morning which eroded by afternoon as an upper level trough moved to the north of the area and mixed out the near surface airmass.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeVisibility below a quarter mile was reported in Lemoore.
