Patches of dense fog formed in the Indian Wells Valley for a few hours during the morning of December 7. The fog caused a fatal multi-vehicle accident along State Route 14 near Inyokern.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeCalifornia Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident around 200 am PST on State Route 14 just south of Inyokern. An occupant of one of the vehicles was killed in the accident. Fog was reported in the area just before the time of the accident and lasted for around two hours.
