There were several fog related accidents during the morning of January 27 and California Highway Patrol paced traffic on several highways until the fog lifted by late morning.

California Highway Patrol reported a 2 vehicle collision in fog on southbound State Route 99 just south of State Route 46 near Famoso at 638 PST. California Highway Patrol reported a semi-truck was struck by two vehicles on County Line Road and Road 128 near Delano in poor visibility at 755 PST. Visalia Police reported a traffic collision at Plaza Dr. and Ferguson Ave. in Goshen closing Plaza Dr. between Goshen Ave. and Riggin Ave at 841 PST.
