Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAreas of dense fog formed once again overnight in the San Joaquin Valley as persistent high pressure brought clear skies, light winds and continued inversion conditions over the valley. The fog became dense in several locations during the early morning hours and resulted in several auto accidents along State Route 198 near Hanford. Several school districts had delayed openings and cancelled morning bus service as a result of the widespread dense fog on the morning of the 31st.
