Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeFog developed over much of northeast Montana on the evening of the 11th, persisting through the morning of the 12th across many areas, and even into early afternoon across portions of Dawson County. Many of the areas affected were along the Milk, Yellowstone, and Missouri River valleys. Visibility in many of the impacted areas was reduced to below a quarter of a mile during this time.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeDense fog reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less developed during the night of the 11th over portions of Dawson County and persisted into the early afternoon hours on the 12th. The Glendive Aiport reported dense freezing fog from approximately 11:00 PM on the 11th through 2:00 PM on the 12th.
