The fog formed in advance of a warm front and was assisted by the rain that fell during the day. The fog started to dissipate in the evening as the warm front moved through. At nearby Philadelphia International Airport, the dense fog caused delays to reach up to two hours on departures and up to three hours on arrivals. Only a few flights overall were canceled. |
