| episode_narrative | Dense fog formed around the local Philadelphia area from the late morning into the evening of the 20th. Widespread visibilities were one quarter of a mile or less. The fog formed in advance of a warm front and was assisted by the rain that fell during the day. The fog started to dissipate in the evening as the warm front moved through. The dense fog caused delays at Philadelphia International Airport to reach up to two hours on departures and up to three hours on arrivals. Only a few flights overall were canceled. Truckers along Interstate 95 pulled over at rest stops in Bucks County because the fog was too thick for them to drive. |
