| episode_narrative | Dense fog formed over most of central and southern Oklahoma during the early morning of May 6th, resulting in visibilities of less than one-quarter of a mile at many routine surface observation sights. Two automobile accidents, attributed at least in part to the dense fog, were reported. One woman involved in a single-vehicle accident at 0430 CST was killed near Elmore City (Garvin County) when she failed to make a sharp curve, went off the road and struck an embankment. Another woman was injured near Lawton (Comanche County) at 0700 CST when her car hit another vehicle which was trying to turn left out of a driveway. |
