Event narrativeevent_narrativeA 2 vehicle car crash occurred on on Highway 4 near Stockton St. and Charter Way in the city of Stockton, resulting in a fatality. A pickup truck struck a big rig which was pulling onto the highway. The pickup truck then struck a utility pole, with the driver later pronounced dead at the scene. The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 am PST and is thought to be related to poor visibility from fog. Visibility at Stockton Municipal Airport was measured at a quarter mile from 4 pm the previous day through 1 pm that afternoon.
