| episode_narrative | A prolonged period of moist and stable conditions resulted in dense fog across the White River Valley in extreme northwest Colorado. Visibilities of less than 1/4 mile dominated for several days, with brief periods of visibility improvement to a few miles. Additionally, freezing temperatures caused icy conditions on area roads, especially on bridges and overpasses. Highways 139, 64, and 40 in the Rangely, Dinosaur, and Massadona areas were impacted by the dense fog. |
