Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeThe combination of ample low level moisture from earlier rains and calm winds led to the development of dense fog across portions of the Texas Panhandle during the early morning hours of the 23rd. This fog dropped visibility to less than a quarter mile in the city of Dalhart (Dallam and Hartley County), Clarendon (Donley County), Wellington (Collingsworth County), Spearman (Hansford County), and Stratford (Sherman County). This lower visibility caused traffic to slow during the morning commute. By 7 AM CST, the dense fog dissipated.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeVisibility of less than 1/4 mile.
