episode_narrativeA weakening and departing surface high pressure system produced a light east flow of relatively cool moist air underneath a warmer air mass just off the earth's surface. Widespread dense fog developed over the nature coast (Hernando County to Levy County) before daybreak, and continued through mid morning. Visibility was reduced to 1/4 mile or less in most areas before the fog burned off shortly after 9 AM.
