| episode_narrative | Very dense fog developed during the early evening across parts of south-central Wisconsin, but broke up before sunrise the next day. Visibilities were reduced to 1/16 to 1/4 mile. About a dozen vehicle accidents were noted in local newspapers, and several airplane flights were delayed at area airports. The very dense fog was the result of radiational cooling, clear skies, and light and variable winds. Surface dewpoints were in the 50 to 55 degree range. |
