episode_narrativeDue to a stagnant weather pattern that resulted in dense fog the night before, another round of dense fog formed again during the pre-dawn hours of the 25th and continued to the mid-morning hour. Visibilities were ruduced to less than 1/4 mile or near zero across south-central Wisconsin. Many airplane flights were delayed or canceled at local airports. Several vehicle accidents were also noted. The dense fog was the result of evaporation of rain that fell during the day on the 23rd, clear skies, and a weak east to southeast return flow around a weak high pressure over the Western Great Lakes region.
