Several accidents were reported on the Interstate 24 bridge crossing the Ohio River. The Ohio River bridge on U.S. Highway 60/51 near Cairo was closed for about an hour due to accidents. Icy conditions were reported on many other bridges and overpasses. Visibility was reduced to as low as one mile at the Paducah airport. |
